So, I have to be honest, I am not that great at "selling myself." Most of my JP Brides are friends of my previous JP Brides and have experienced a wedding with me, heard the raves and basically just want to know where to sign. For that, I am eternally thankful. I still have some things to say, and it doesn't have to do with my ability to photograph weddings, because, let's face it, you can see proof of that in the Galleries, so here it goes.
If you are price shopping photographers just to find the cheapest deal, I probably am not that person for your wedding. If you are hoping for a “show up and shoot” photographer, I am definitely not the one for you. What you see is what you get, and that is a pretty fun, personalized experience. I am the type of photographer that laughs, cries and happy dances with you even before the wedding day arrives. I am the type of photographer that wants to do everything within her power to make sure your day is amazing. I want to get to know my couples, what makes them happy, what are they like at the end of the day. I'm really not kidding when I tell my brides to text me when they need someone to talk to or ask me which wedding vendors I would recommend! People call me crazy for making myself so available but I genuinely love the people I photograph, I think that is so important. And, at the end of the day, I really do know what I'm doing :)
So, what does your gut tell you?
